Born on Bal-Kriav, in deeps of the Sea of Mourning, Sathel's rise to fame began as a sea rogue, a pirate of the deep that preyed on surface ships. By the time she was 22, she had a following of similar malcontents. She wore fineries, jewelry, exotic headdresses, and ornate armaments, leading to the nickname Sea Baroness. It was name that drew the ire of those actually carrying the title by right.
When the Creation War started (1486 DE), types like Sathel were in demand. She did not volunteer, considering it a conflict of super beings. When finally cornered by Covenant forces, she was given a choice of imprisonment or a position in the military. She chose the latter, battling the Primordials.
For two millennia, she was a Tier 3 Creationist, creating the first Durkoth (1712 DE), the sea elves (1798 DE) and a multitude of other aquatic lifeforms. She gave guidance to higher tiered creationists in the shaping of undersea locales that were then just undersea deserts covered by water. When not building things permanent, she served as one of the Covenant's top sea commanders, leading merfolk, triton and sea elf armies in the deeps of Morwuld Briin, Nielalroch, Edhelviel, The Pearl and other oceans besieged by the Primordial Lords and their minions.
In 2185 DE, Sathel created a military highway called the Sea Tunnel. Beyond even the powers of a Tier 3 Creationist she pulled this off with the help of what was then referred to as the Baton of Sathel. With this artifact of creation, she created an extra-dimensional passage that allowed movement between Edhelviel and Morwuld Briin, two oceans on the opposite sides of the Brucrumus mainland.
In the Demon Spawn War, Sathel served as a sea commander under the Quara'tun Covenant. On 9 Withcrite 8985 GE, she used her Baton of Sathel, creating the coastal defenses of Fingeral, protecting Pardhaer from attacks by sea.
On 6 Temporal 9350 GE, Sathel passed through the Temple of Ascension, becoming a Cult Power.
