Terrant are one of the races that make-up the Khazarkar people. They have gray skin with areas of darker gray that almost seem like tattoos. These darker patterns of skin are ordered and not randomly scattered about their bodies. The dark patterns on Terrant's bodies is said to be a byproduct of Danzar-Khâls Surveyor; a taint from an unpracticed hand, leaving a bit too much Negative Entropy in their making.

Terrant is an Old Khazarkar word that means warrior. It goes with their saying "born with a blade, bred for war", a reference to why they were created. In the God Era, the Terrant and the other Khazarkar castes were secretly created by Set. He did this by using a stolen relic, a legendary item that holds the power to create lifeforms, just like that of a Tier 3 Creationist. Using Danzar-Khâls Surveyor, Set created the Terrant to serve as the guardians of Khazarkar civilization. While they lived in the deeps of Maenedhel, they carried out the military operations of the Minâth and protected them from any civil unrest brought on from the Corralum or others under Minâth rule.

In the Otriring Rebalancing (255 LE), the Khazarkar were driven to the surface with little more than they could carry. This slowed their cultural advancement for a time and led to a regression to more tribal ways. Some of the Corrallum tried to break-off and form their own homogeneous groups, but the Minâth (backed by the Terrant) saw that their skill was needed for the continued advancement of the Khazarkar civilization so they rounded them up.

Since the time of their creation, the Terrant have served as the soldiers of Khazarkar society. They are trained in war from youth, serving the Minâth and the Khazarkar Empire.

Terrant are shorter than the Corrallum but more agile than the other two castes. They have a height range of 5'8" to 6'4". They have a resistance to mind attacks and other racial traits that are attributed to Set abusing the powers of creation when he used Danzar-Khâl's tool of creation.
