Founded near the start of the Titan Era, Lambaril was built by settlers out of Lúthil. It began on the eastern banks of the mighty Dargirth river, spreading to the other side and into the surrounding hills. Laced with canals and beautiful architecture, the city has huge flood walls, avoiding the worst brought on by the Ice Cap Melt.
During the reign of Aslauthroa Monarchy (9 HE - 1891 HE), Lambaril was a constant thorn in the side of the monarchy. They supported the cause of freeing the people's under the yoke of their giant masters. Twice captured by Aslauthroa, they became a vassal state for eight years the first time, and thirty-two years the second time. In 1741 HE, winning their freedom by civil war, Lambaril once again became an independent city-state. Thereafter, they focused on the downfall of Aslauthroa, allying with former enemies like the Âkhi and the undead masters of the Castle of Death, against the greater threat to all.
