Asoun is perhaps one of the smartest primordials to ever come into existence. To get around the weakness of not being able to wield magic or benefit from it, he invented mechanical devices that could help him. He also created sentient organisms that could be attached to the body and serve as vessels for wielding magic through them.
Asoun is immune to magic. This makes him a tough foe to fight when many rely on magic. The first group of Covenant soldiers to encounter him were nearly wiped out. One of the Lith-Crillion angels that perished fighting him was the archangel Anubis; father to one that in the Horgon Era would rise to become the goddess Kebechet.
In the Lith-Crillion Era, Asoun found a lost rift-making bastion called the Womb of Entropy. He used this place to re-open several rifts between Chaos and the mortal world Bal-Kriav. When the Lith-Crillion learned of these gateways, they mounted an attack on the Womb of Entropy. In 1271 LE, Lith-Crillion commandos and a pack of weave spiders utterly destroyed the place. The destruction of the Womb of Entropy sent thousands of pieces of it across the realms. These chaos-tainted fragments became known as Entropy Fragments.
