The Plaques of Aphalur are rune plagues along the massive parapets of Aphalur. In the Supernal tongue, most written by archangels and future gods, they are historical records of the Dawn Era and the God Era.
In early times, it was forbidden to copy the parapet's writing, with Akthol-Tharag making it a very serious crime. The historical information copied and put into written form are called the Scrolls of Dawn. Today, with much of the information having got out, the hundreds of Plaques of Aphalur are more a tourist site than a destination for someone looking for lost lore.
