In the Year 544, a group of elven families had had enough of the Rúmil government. Unable to break the continuous line of rule by a select group of families, some of the under-represented families broke from their parent nation and migrated east into the Tribe Steppes. They settled at the Marakellûth ruin and a year later under House Ithendelt, established a kingdom.

In 799, the Ithendelt kingdom was driven from Marakellûth. They came about from incessant raids by ever growing numbers of jara. They migrated east into Cinazan settling among the dense forests bordering the Core Sea. At this place, they established their new capital, Séregon.

In 905, Queen Nessa Elensar died, leaving the kingdom without a heir. Ithendelt suffered insurrections as the various families vied for control of the kingdom. The stage was set for a civil war when two noble houses and their respective allies were nearly equal in power. The Ithendelt Schism, a civil war, ensued leaving many dead on each side, and seeing awesome displays of elven magic.

Seven years later, in 912, House Glorfindel and her allies lost. They were exiled from the kingdom. Most went west across the Core Sea to a large delta called Eämbavië. In this area, they formed the nation of Gilraen. The victors, House Ithengee, remained on the western shore; a Kriavian Elf tradition, when a new kingdom is formed out of the ashes of another, it takes the name of the leading victorious family. Ithendelt became the Ithengee kingdom.
