In the Year 544, a group of Kriavfahliil families, Rúmil citizens, left their homeland. They were tired of what had become a continuous rule by a select group of families. Believing the government not to be fairly represented families, they migrated east into the Tribe Steppes. They settled at the Marakellûth ruin and a year later under House Ithendelt, established a kingdom.
In 799, the Ithendelt kingdom was driven from Marakellûth. They came about from incessant raids by ever growing numbers of Jara. They migrated east into Cinazan settling among the dense forests bordering the Core Sea. At this place, they established their new capital, Séregon.
In 905, Queen Nessa Ithendelt died, leaving the kingdom without a heir. The result was the Ithendelt Schism (905 - 912). This seven year civil war ended on 1 Brightstar 912 with House Glorfindel and her allies lost. Exiled, they went west across the Core Sea where they would become the Gilraen Oligarchy. The victors, House Ithengee, became the nascent Ithengee Monarchy.
