Arastel is a satyr with humanoid features resembling those of a Kriavfahliil. Legend has it that he was a mortal elf created by Bruh Kreniik and one of the first mortals created on Kriav. When the Cube Collapse occurred, Arastel and dozens of other kriavian elves were transformed into satyr. At the time, Bruh Kreniik was already set in his belief that Higher Powers should not interfere in mortal affairs, so he let the changes that befell his creations remain. Though he did not change them, it is said that he did bless Arastel with a bit of divinity.
Arastel is the father of Melora. He is suspected of having seduced many mortals, but Melora is the only one which he gave divine heritage.
Arastel dwells in the Tirion System, roaming freely without restriction. He can do this because The Balance has little power in this Mortal System. They censure him on Bal-Kriav, preventing him from gaining followers. As a result, Arastel's worshipper base is thin, restricted to Tirion worlds. Arastel has one more Domain than what is normally available to one classed a minor divine power. It is believed this comes from his existence in a system that is unbalanced compared to other Mortal Systems.
