Cimgen is sited in a rocky valley of the Elephant Backbone. The trees are mammoth in size, reaching a height of 300'. Much of these woods have been permanently shaped by the green dragons which make their lair in the area. Some of these fearsome wyrms have embraced undeath. The wyrm Rotgredsh, a dracolich dwelling in Vorkrak, once dwelled in this forest. When she was here, Rotgredsh was the apex predator and kept the other dragons in check. Belgunth enticed the beast into moving north and joining her empire. Since Rotgredsh's departure, the dragons of the area have built small holdings for themselves, employing giants, gnolls, and other beasts to do their dirty work.
