Vynnendar

Founded in 371 HE, Vynnendar began as salt mine. Far from its headquarters in Mulun-Dûna, and sometimes cut-off for decades by regional conflicts, mine became town, and independent in 501 HE.

In 700 HE, bowing to superior forces, Vynnendar became a vassal state of the Glangveif Monarchy (314 HE - 31).

Among the Giants, there was a great demand for our finished wares. It was an economic boom that will probably never be seen again. When Glangveif was meltged under the fiery boots of Hofthorm, the Fimbulwinter Gold dried up.

Most of Vynnendar's Turkûn population are Gimhak descendants. It is said a drug called The Keeper was created to quell Gimhak radicals seeking to destabilize Vynnendar's tenuous relationship with the Orchish Empire.

Vynnendar is an exporter of a uniquely flavored salt, precious metals, marble and other fine building stones. Vynnendar is considered the region's most peaceful and stable city-states.
