Built into the side of a mountain, Numakkhalgu is the capital of the Hjalmarbrodd Monarchy. It was founded by ex-Phlehorns, those that had give up their citizenship to Phlehorn (92 - 1080). In the Khizunul mountains, they set to mining gold and gemstones that had too long lay untouched.
Problems with Khizunul's giants, mostly hill and stone, led to the city's fortifications being rebuilt many times. Today, the final product are lava stone walls reinforced with mithril beams, and loyal stone giants, citizen-soldiers of Hjalmarbrodd.
Numakkhalgu is home to one of the world's top war colleges, the Numakkhalgu Multarax.
