Pallid Bone, a religious sect dedicated to Kebechet, was established in the southern reaches of Gulimbor. On 17 Warper 451 HE, in the Khazarkar city of Akann'ndâb, the first meeting was held in a small keep named the Impregnable Edifice. With mortar made of slain undead, this small keep became a mighty citadel impervious to magic.

In addition to carrying out the interests of the Akann'ndâb's Church of Kebechet, Pallid Bone created specialized units for hunting undead and putting down those practicing necromancy for fell purposes.

In 1002, Akann'ndâb fell to Conclave forces. The Pallid Bone, feared for their abilities to ignore various energy types on a whim, and behind the Impregnable Edifice, were given a deal. For safe passage, they could turn over a bunch of magic items, one an artifact, along with a cartload of ancient tomes, or they could put their skills to use in the Conclave's special forces. Seeing the results of the Conclave, particularly the Gulimbor Cataclysm (996 - 1203), most chose safe passage.

In 1027, with a monotheism taking over the Khazarkar Empire, Pallid Bone relocated beyond Khazarkar borders to the southern free hold of Khimilêth.

Pallid Bone serves as an elite guard for Khimilêth. When going to war, Pallid Bone bring their constructs, the cadaver collectors. These creatures scoop up the dead so that they may be returned to the Pyramid of Anubis and cast into the Pyre of Eternal Flames.
