In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), this region fell to the primordials. It would remain under their control for much of the war. They invaded this region of the world Kriav via the Henmona Rift. When it was closed by the Golden Seven, the primordial forces were cut-off and eventually wiped out.
In the Demon Spawn War (8972 GE - 9493 GE), the Henmona Rift was re-opened by a demon lord named Hezxis. With his demon army, he attacked lands under the watch of Covenant general named Corellon.
The fey of this region were for so long under primordial and then demon influence that they became more like those that lorded over them. Some were infected with abyssal energies making them dark and villainous at birth. The first quicklings, malevolent fey, came about in this region.
