Maphas-Kas is a huge jungle crater of Gathrot Isle. The remains of a collapsed volcano, its center is a deep crater lake named Agûrbâte. Along the northern side of this lake is a towering purple crystal known as the Spire of Molakh-Búle. An ark that carried people away from brain-eating doom, its passengers founded the Abâthigûr (862 HE - 1011 HE).
Perched on extreme ends of this area are two capitals, one an Abâthigûr ruin, the other the capital of the Black Tide of Thasmudyan.
Maphas-Kas is home to numerous mindless undead, blood apes and grell.
