On 29 Lunar 1501 DE, the Covenant general Ptah destroyed Tiwa'erra. Along with the destruction of this floating Covenant bastion, went a primordial army then sacking the place. General Eysveig, a disembodied thinker, a primordial monstrosity with dozens of brains, was not entirely destroyed in Tiwa'erra's implosion. Collected by his minions, they were taken to Eysveigs Infirmary for experimentation. On 1 Temporal 1503 DE, bits of Eysveig's brain spawned the first of the Grell race.
