Sûreg is sited on the eastern side of the isle of Nurnas-Kam. Around 724, it became a base for Dromite pirates. Hidden in seaward face of mount Othidyus, it remained hidden for decades. Growing rich and more populous in the Great Exodus (998 - 1017), Sûreg slowly returned to civilization. They became a legitimate trade stop for storing cargo and merchant ships moving through the Buccaneer Archipelago.
In 1704, Sûreg was captured by Paradomea's marines. A century of bad government that mockingly had grown too close to the region's pirate elements, was replaced by corporate control.
