The headwaters of the Ragil river begin on the southern edge of an unnatural glacier named Nym-Zoedine. From there it flows south, picking up drainage from the Roralarg. After this cold swamp, it becomes a fast and dangerous river with many waterfalls and rapids. The area's hobgoblins say that one does not reach adulthood until he has canoed down the Ragil. In the Horgon Era, the ancestors of these hobgoblins were always under threat by the Glangveif. This frost giant empire was always hungry for more land and minions.
