Hound Wash is a river with headwaters in the Canines. A slow-moving river, it flows through the Hills of Regalc on a southward journey to the Galathien Sea. Beginning with the Yagamph Republic (746 - 956), the Hound Wash became a major trade route between Kennel and Muzratân and other Galathien holds.
At the northern end of the river, where the waters become navigable only by canoe, is Rorthurk. A crumbling and overgrown fortress harbor, during the time of Yagamph, trade passed from the Hound Walsh, then by the tax collectors, onward to the Vale of Mughorz.
