Built in the Demon Spawn War (8972 GE - 9493 GE), this underground prison housed those in service to the Abyssal Hegemony. Faced by a numerically superior foe, this Covenant prison was constantly being expanded. Earthen labor divisions, supplied by Geb, did most of the construction. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the prison was its magical restraints, enough to shackle 10,000 inmates. One of the time-manipulation wonders of Chronos, once shackled, the prisoner's body entered a state of hibernation. Real imprisonment followed with their psyche shunted off to a faraway prison world of the Tartarus System. On a world called Endearing Shackles, the prisoner's psyche wandered. If they found a new corpse to inhabit, they could carry out their sentence in form; yet if killed in this new host, their body hibernating in the Cells of Ten-Thousand Shackles would also wither away.
