Tachylyte

Tachylyte is the capital of Rilirthad. It is an enormous city, even bigger than those made by the Titan Empires; an earth elemental, 50' tall, can move easily through most of the city's buildings. Tachylyte is sited atop the Ogremoch Mesa. It is fashioned with all manner of stones like marble, malachite, granite, lava stone, and nearly every other type of rock. The city has numerous ziggurats with the largest being Dukhallûth. This towering edifice serves as the palace of the Dao Khan. The top tier of this structure is 650' above the streets below.

The walls of this city are built like a series of steps, each a great canal redirecting the churning mud and rock spewing out the Togomud Sink, away from the city. Most of the time they work, but sometimes showers of rock pulverize the city, or rapid moving sand and gravel flood into the city, taking away buildings and people.
