Lirgad was built in the last years of the Rerkvorg Pacification Campaign (1323 - 1410). Sited in the eastern peaks of Urkthal, it overlooks the Grusskar pass to the southeast, and the coasts to the moors of Ikhen looking northwest. Built to bring stability to the area, it is the headquarters of the Apocalypse Corps.
Lirgad is a massive fortress with aeries for dragons and berthing areas for skyships . It is a militarized area with civilians only gaining entrance if they are doing business with the Apocalypse Corps.
Overlooking the bastion's courtyard is a colossal dragon statue with a 200' wingspan. It serves as both a lookout tower and honors the red dragon Apocalypse.
