Established in 1562 by Black Tide ex-soldiers, Ebonweird is a unit of the Orchish Empire's ground forces, the Fograth. In addition to using their necromantic skills in warfare, they are also responsible for procuring undead from those who trade in such things. The unit's composition is restricted by laws, such that it must always have more living than undead soldiers; a product of the Church of Gruumsh seeking to curb the influence of Thasmudyan.
Ebonweird is headquartered in Argruxiel, a Necrohold.
