Ardilthôr

Ardilthôr was built as a military base and river port for ferrying people across the river Rute.

During the Cinazan Front, Ardilthôr rapidly expanded in population. Initially this was because it became the temporary living quarters for displaced civilians from fallen places like Sakarumân and towns and villages of Armânuk. After the war, nearly 20,000 people stayed at Ardilthôr, turning what was once a military base into an energetic and fast-growing city.

Ardilthôr is a port city, on the eastern banks of the river Rute. Before the city and for ten miles in each direction, the river ranges from one to two miles across.
