Built by the Gimhak, Tharam-Khâl was built over a rich mithril vein named Nâram-Zind. It was of such quality and quantity that many Gimhak soldiers were outfitted with mithril armor.
In 1479 of the the Gimhak War (1470 - 1479), one of the Orchish Empire's top generals, Monty the Mad was killed in the capture of Tharam-Khâl.
