The ground of this desolate area has been baked, not from the surface, but from the volcanic activity thousands of feet beneath it. The source of this heat is the Faeglor area Taldrath. The ground of Skjald is cracked and broken like parched earth. It steams and smokes from the violent geothermal activity beneath it.
Many worshipers of Geb call this place Geb's Spleen. They attribute it to the birth of Geb, an event that also created Basskaff, Gurnskolf, and Geb's Innards.
