In the first two eras, the Sea Tunnel, a marvel of Covenant magical engineering, flowed northwest to southeast. Up until the Lith-Crillion Era, the exit point of this Sea Tunnel, a canal that once helped move forces from one side of the continent to another, was the bay Gosvern Bah, or Heavens Wrath. In the Angelic Departure (9494 GE - 9500 GE), as part of Covenant cleaning up efforts and for reasons unknown, the course of the Sea Tunnel was reversed. This made the surrounding bay, a great body of eddying water, all churning towards the the Sea Tunnel's new entry point, the whirlpool Lokzii Ven.
