The Gorum Steppe begins north of Hlothangi forest and goes north till it reaches the deep woodlands of Maegorion and the Anassúmë river. Gorum Steppe, like the other grasslands of the Northern Hordelands and the Tribe Steppes are the hunting grounds of the jara. Gorum is dotted with many hills and patches of trees, so there is some protection afforded to travelers from the roving bands of jara, gnolls, and other tribal elements of the area.
In the Year 1512, the Gorum Horde was formed in this area.
