Drauglorn is a swamp of northwestern Taurelin. It was formed when the labor force of a large part of Rúmil went to work building a canal to redirect the flow of the river Guirfeint. This was a national effort, said to be required by the builders to choke off Rumaktharga's advance (as part of the Second Kizan War). When the water was redirected east, the lowlands of Drauglorn became a swamp.
Drauglorn is a patchy swamp with many paths cutting into it. These paths are like a maze of covering nearly 1700 square miles of wetlands, with paths there one month and gone the next. Most of the time it is large beavers creating these natural embankments which end up serving as muddy paths for travelers.
