Built in the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), Azaraglad was a city of slaves, mortals and celestials toiling away for a primordial master bent on destroying the world. When their master Cari'phis was captured, everyone abandoned a city where tens of thousands died mining a great pit for no other purpose than to physically break the diggers.
Horrors of distant time long forgotten, and newcomers to the world of Bal-Kriav, in 332 HE, the ruins of Azaraglad became shelter for survivors of the crashed World Splitter. Home to the Mezrack for five centuries, Azaraglad was never too populous. Near the wastes of Perge'khas, it was dangerous place to live. Gemstones and precious ores, kept the city-state going. One of the groups that left for a more secure home, made it to the mystical Isle of Arcana where they made a home in the Mithivî Mountains; founding Mîmig-Khâla on 29 Saunas 369 HE.
In the last century of Azaraglad, mining was coming to a stop. Now too deep, precious ores and gemstones remained, but casualties mounted. Those down below had the claim since the time of the Icy Queen, and were well-equipped to back it up. Azaraglad went into a decline, eventually reclaimed by nature, beast, and the terrors of Perge'khas.
