The Torgilm Confederacy was formed to counter the warmongering minotaurs of southern Azrik, the Ba'lith Empire.
By the start of the Brothers Enmity War (1697 - 1723), the Torgilm Confederacy had nearly 400,000 citizens. Entrenched behind swamps, highlands, and fjords they held out for two decades against superior forces.
Ilfongrak was the confederacy's heart. Its second most important asset was Marmarath. When Ilfongrak fell in 1719, the confederacy was dissolved. A guerrilla war would continue on for long after.
