Founded in 1336 by a Lorhazi sorcerer named Gúlúrn, the cult of Borurthane is a disease-spreading group of Midrêth. Doing the work of the god of pestilence and decay, most of the cult's members are followers of Rioch Tetrax.
Borurthane gets its wealth from vast underground farms, the making of toxins, potions, and mercenary work. In the Coeus Civil War (1694 - 1697), hired by the usurper Rax, they unleashed a virulent plague on the city of Bithiemeth.
