In the northern part of the Ruzun mountains is the volcano Traeulf. In 1642, it erupted, consuming the young Sig-Lorm city-state of Hinnbjalf, and turning half of Jadvild into a volcanic wasteland.
Traeulf is an active volcano fed by the lava of the Annbild Hrolmir; an artery of the Great Vein of Surtur said to course through the underworld.
