In the Faeglor Front (228 GE - 261 GE), Pulax served as a base for Zuggtmoy's army of demons, oozes, puddings, slimes and other plant terrors. Like the other demon lords of the Abyssal Hegemony, Zuggtmoy wanted a slice of Bal-Kriav.

By the fifth year of Faeglor Front, Pulax was besieged by the Earthen armies of Geb. Each yard of gain came at terrible losses, leading to a ring of fortifications and alarms, containment and probing for weaknesses. The situation mattered little to Pulax's Queen demon, she had numbers on her side. Over the nearly four decades of this war, the area of Pulax was greatly expanded in size, both from earth quakes caused by her enemies and demon oozes with the ability to reduce stone to dust in minutes. These dangerous oozes, living only weeks if taken from the world of Mycorji, were also put to use in the building of great terraces descending downwards for hundreds of feet and spiraling shafts leading to deeper subterranean tiers.

During the time of Zuggtmoy, demon fortresses covered in violent fungus protected labs and farms where slimes, molds, pudding and fungal terrors were sometimes fertilized with Covenant dead.

Sehk'liths Moat, an algae clogged pond, surrounds the ruins of Sehk'lith. In the Faeglor Front, this moat was a rift linking the Abyssal world Mycorji with this area.

Beyond Sehk'liths Moat is Lake Azu'phis. In the foul waters of this lake, the first green slimes are said to have been created by Zuggtmoy.

Pulax is littered with ancient ruins and stuff abandoned since the Demon Spawn War. After Zuggtmoy was banished, the area became a haven for slimes, oozes, and plant terrors. The Fungal Vats of Pulax, in the ruins of Sehk'lith, once used to quicken the population growth of plants, are still operational. They are a common cause for huge population booms, and vicious feeding frenzies.
