The oldest and largest tree of High Wood Country is a mass of roots, vines and thickets called BelephrÃan. It is one gigantic organism. Within all this is the fortress Nelrenael. In times of great danger, the roots and vegetation around it folds over it.
Nelrenael was built as a meeting place and refuge for the mortal Aredhel and her friends. When Aredhel became a Higher Power (14 Bloom 1685), Nelrenael became a holy site under the care of Gwatherfin's forest warriors.
Unicorns, satyr, centaurs, wood elves, faeries, silver and gold dragons are some of the guardians of this place.
