Map | Knaevan River |
This wide fast-moving river begins at lake Waloom. It flows east from this lake passing the mud lands to the north at the marshes and hills of upper Elpašân . After crossing into the region Izagunbar, it is joined by the river Spinnaker. After the merging of these two rivers, the Knaevan cuts north. The last one hundred miles of the river cut into mountains becoming a deep and wide fjord.
The Knaevan was not always so wide and fast. When Lokestant created the Waterhaven Channel, water spewed out of mount Aphenarun like an erupting volcano. All this water expanded the shores of ponds and lakes. In many areas, the Knaevan tripled in width.
