Kautha is a salt water marsh on the eastern side of the Sparkling Bay and south of the city-sized ruin of Zayr. The marsh is home undead lake monsters, crimson deaths, will-o-wisps, and a large number of undead; many remnants of the time the area was ruled by the Black Tide.
Near the northern side of Kautha is a partially submerged pyramid. This massive structure is the Pyramid of Merioss, an ancient Lith-Crillion research center.
