These frigid pools of water are located near Caina Nexus. Though the area is freezing cold, these pools never freeze. This is because the Ice Mist Pools are composed of magical energy and the raw elements of Chaos.
Many ice salamanders, hydrax and white dragons inhabit the Ice Mist Pools. Even with these dangers lurking in the frigid depths, mages journey to this place to utilize the elemental energies of the Ice Mist Pools to imbue Wands of Frost, Frostbrand weapons, and other items dealing in cold magic. The pools of this area are useful for adding cold properties to forged items.
