Athroonds Camp is a series of cavern plateaus descending from the north. The bottom of the fourth plateau has a depth of 7,100 feet. In the Demon Spawn War (8972 GE - 9493 GE) , this area became known as Athroonds Camp. It was where demons under Athroond kept a tab on the affairs of Blibdoolpoolp. When hostilities broke out between her and her former boss, Athroonds Camp became a demon citadel honeycombed out of the plateaus. It wasn't supposed to be so expansive and wasteful. The Soothsayers of Blipool, with its masters of manipulating psychic energy, are often credited with the "additional redundancies" to the original plan.
In the Lith-Crillion Era, the Unstable One, dethroned emperor of Âkhi, holed up in this area for ten years. Outright attack and assassinations failing, Âkhi let the Unstable One fall to the graces of his closest advisor, the demon weapon Buludumech. After the Unstable One's death, Athroonds Camp returned to being a living area for those working the lifts and maintaining the road. Most of the area is wild and dangerous, hundreds upon hundreds of chambers, and a thousand passages left to critters and monsters. Most traffic heading through this region go by the Buldabus Channel, in Âkhi submersibles, or take the more secure land route down Gebs Foothills.
