An epic battle of the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), the Battle of Stafknir Hrerbjof was a nine month conflict between the Covenant general Golruwyrm and the primordial armies under Buldapulax and Kurrolath.

In the aftermath of the cataclysmic that rocked what the primordials called Stafknir Hrerbjof, many took to referring to the desolate wastes as the Sands of Hell.
