Fed by the glaciers of the Gelugon Range, the lake of Nadrunal is named after a water naga that once lived here. During the reign of the first leader of the Council of Bile, the naga Nadrunal served as his closest confidant and helped define a government suited for the nascent nation's many highly competitive military orders.
The Lake of Nadrunal is almost fifty miles wide and twenty miles north to south. It is the used by the Council of Bile for fishing and trafficking of goods to the many dwellings along its shores. Foreigners traversing the lake must pay a toll of 1sp/head. Scattered about the lake are 26 islands. On some of the larger islands are fishing villages, private villas, keeps, or prisons. The lake drains east into the Foronir. This small waterway is navigable by large ships.
