Hertenya is a deep depression in the Clans northeastern corner. Twelve great falls and dozens of smaller ones, fall into Hertenya's one thousand foot cavity . The base of the depression is covered with blue, green and red crystals. The elves claim the area is magical, with pools sometimes becoming alive with arcane energy. Sprites, faeries and other fey creatures are very common in this area. These creatures are hostile to all outsiders, including the elves which have long claimed the area as a summer retreat.
Glashynal, a floating citadel, was built to protect the area's elven settlements.
