Kur'toom came to fame as a shaman leading a band of malcontents, outcasts for their beliefs, some too bloodthirsty by even Ogre standards, and some wanted for crimes against their fellow people. They grew infamous as marauders, the Toomrur, then legendary as mercenaries, first by helping crush their employer's rival tribes, then bringing the whole under one authority, with Kur'toom becoming the Aerie's first Ogre Lord on 29 War March 235 HE.
