Dienkigec

A Terran word, Dienkigec means Great One. When explorers came to this area from Gnemdos, they found a great petrified worm. Thinking it one of the ancients that bored out the Great Tradeway, they staked the area out for settlement. When raiders started causing problems, the colonists built up and then into the safety of the petrified giant. Today, a city of over 100,000 live in the remains of one of Krephus's offspring.

The city's southern side faces the Heliotrope Sea. By the Horgon Era, the city had expanded in all directions, including down the petrified worm where it disappears into the sea's purplish waters. In this area, they built a port.
