A product of the Jara, Englas is considered to be a very strong mead with a rich flavor, and an intoxicating odor. It is made from the Mondor melon. These melons are found in the swamps of southern Tribe Steppes. The Angrods were the first people to use the Mondor melon in beverages. The Jara were the first to distill it as alcohol. One of the best sources for Mondor melons is the Khultamir Swamp.
Before battle, the sounds of breaking pottery can be heard from the camps of the jara, as great quantities of Englas are consumed. It is not used to steel the nerves of these cold and cruel centaurs, but to turn them even more vicious and reckless.
