In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), Tarâk fell out of favor with a number of primordial lords. Surrounded by hunting parties, he escaped by making a deep borehole a hundred feet wide and ten miles deep. Late in the Horgon Era, stone giants settled near what came to be known as Tarâks Burrow. They built the great citadel of Saer'kal and erected a great church around the mouth of this borehole.
