With the end of the Demon Spawn War (8972 GE - 9493 GE), the Lossëhelin forest became home to a company of wood elves that had served under multiple Covenant commanders. Masters of ruse, deception, and guerrilla fighting someone always wanted them in their armies. As in the war, they were largely nomadic, moving to different retreats, letting the land heal in their absence. They were not keen on religion, preferring raw nature over the ideals of most Higher Powers. Nonetheless, their use of druidic magic tied them to various Higher Powers, yet they never spoke their names or worshiped them openly.
In the Phael-Tetramord War (10 - 25), the nomadic tribes of this forest were driven out by the demons. On Cirongwathir ships, they went north to the High Wood Country where they would go on to establish the Angrod state.
