Grazaghast is a muddy defile starting at the northeastern edge of Gurutharni. It stretches east as far as Mo'tzor with half of it submerged in the waters of lake Styming.
Before the Varelay Upheaval (2608 LE - 16 HE), this area was much different. It was a dry descent from the walls of a bastion that then went by the name Gu'sax 12. The Varelay Upheaval was a cataclysmic event that changed the area's water table which in turn put half of Grazaghast under water.
