In 1524, the Order of Solars was founded by a paladin named Galtrag.
In the Athenian Crusade (1539 - 1551), the Order of Solars fought against the undead hordes of the Black Tide. Their first major combat action was the Severed Neck Battle. After earning high accolade and valor in this pivotal battle, they would go on to lead the charge in every subsequent conflict of the war.
