Artwerk is a small town sited on the isle of Torvild. It was one of three craft holds of the Llydaros. When the city fell to the undead in the Dark Revolt, the people continued on as immortals, perfecting their artistic interests as newly made undead.
Like the other towns on Torvild, Artwerk is led by an eccentric lich. This lich goes by the name of Paint. He heads a group of intelligent undead called the Blood Rune Artisians. The Blood Rune Artisians build artistic buildings with architecture mirroring all the other civilizations of Bal-Kriav. They actively seek artwork and those with visual accounts of new architecture. The more powerful undead of this organization use spells and magic items dealing in symbols and runes.
