The second planet of Quara'tun is Gebs Rain. The orbital path of this planet takes it very close to the Belt of Geb. As such, rocks frequently rain down from the skies leaving massive craters and causing drastic weather changes.
The only significant colonization of Gebs Rain occurred with the Eenkai civilization of Nordern. These people were driven from the world when pulverizing meteor storms rained down upon the planet. This was not the normal meteor strikes that are common to the planet, but one that only rears its head every 900 years, the Bombing of Geb.
