Sladdvir

The Sladdvir is the flagship of Griddrir's navy.

The Sladdvir is of special construction. Instead of wooden beams, she has a hull supported by bones taken from an ancient blue dragon's ribcage. The idea to use the bones of a lightning-breathing dragon was his wife's. She figured it would be a good way to bring the Church of Talos and their penchant for lightning to her husband's cause. It's worked so far. They've backed his goal of putting Griddrir back on the map.

The Sladdvir is powered by a gem-crusher and sails. The ship's sails, like most skyships, are normally used for maneuvering as the weight of such ships is such that only great winds could carry them through the skies; wind is also unreliable. The Sladdvir’s figurehead is of a great busted storm giant with a lightning bolt in each hand.
